COVID-19: SA’s TB response already impacted
South Africa’s extensive COVID-19 response is already impacting the fight against tuberculosis (TB) with a decline in TB testing and at least one TB ward being turned into a COVID-19 ward.

A total of 63 000 people died of tuberculosis (TB) in South Africa in 2018, according to new figures released by the World Health Organization on Thursday.
